News broke late last week of a ’swine flu’ that claimed the lives of 81 people in Mexico and signs of it are starting to pop up around the U.S. and other locations. The Swine Flu has the potential to cause a very extreme health care epidemic.

Please advise your church schools and Sunday Schools to be aware of this issue and to take special precautions to avoid spreading the disease. It’s a common respiratory ailment in pigs, but this strain appears to be a subtype never before seen in pigs or humans. Here are answers to questions you may have about swine flu.
