Disruptive Tambourine Playing Woman Tased At Church

Edmond, Oklahoma – The Edmond Sun reported an intoxicated woman entered Victory Church in Edmond, OK Wednesday night causing a distrubance with a tambourine.

Church members asked her to leave and she refused, so the contacted security.

An off duty deputy, working as church security, confronted the trespasser, who was not a member, and requested she leave the premises. She refused.

The deputy escorted her outside and she attempted to re-enter the church. The trespasser then became combative. The deputy used pepper spray in an attempt to regain control, and when that failed he used a Taser.

The report stated the suspect had slurred speech and was staggering when the deputy contacted her.

The suspect, a 50 year old woman, stated she was on pain medication. The deputy found a pill on her that was not in a prescription bottle. She was arrested and charged with trespassing, drug offenses, and resisting arrest.
