PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. – Police in Prince George’s County are investigating a brutal attack on a senior citizen.
The man was robbed and beaten outside a church just before midnight mass on Christmas Eve, according to police.
Authorities said the 69-year-old had just dropped his wife off at the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church and was preparing to park when a person beat him with a baseball bat.
The victim was hospitalized in critical condition.
There is no word whether police have found any suspects or motives in the attack.
