Man Arrested In Ontario Crime Spree Involving A Church

Ontario, Canada – Police arrested a suspect in a week long crime spree where he stole property from a church twice, while also committing other burglary and robbery offenses.

Police report the crime spree began on February 9 when the suspect entered United Church on Ontario Street and stole a church employee’s wallet.

Four days later, he returned to the church with an accomplice and took a safe containing church documents and a gift card.  Later in the day, the pair broke into a pharmacy and took cash and medication.

Six days later, the suspect stole a Habitat for Humanity donation box at a local restuarant.  The next day, he robbed a pizza store at knife point.

The busy 19 year old man was arrested when police searched his home and recovered items used during the crime spree.
